Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

Convocart is a product operated by Methuselah Ventures Private Limited ("Methuselah Ventures", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using Convocart, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform.

2. Description of Service

Convocart is a multi-tenant AI voice and chat receptionist platform. It answers phone calls and website chat sessions on behalf of your business, qualifies leads, books appointments, answers questions using content you provide, and routes conversations to a human team member when needed.

3. Accounts & Eligibility

You must provide accurate business and contact information when creating an account, and you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Subscription & Billing

Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Chargebee. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your chosen payment method until you cancel. Cancellations, and whether any amount is refundable, are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5. Acceptable Use

You may use Convocart solely for lawful business purposes. You agree not to use the platform to transmit unlawful, harmful, or abusive content, to spam or harass callers, or to violate any applicable laws or regulations.

6. Call Recording & Consent

You are responsible for obtaining all necessary consents from callers before enabling call recording. Convocart provides recording as an optional technical feature; compliance with recording and wiretap laws in your jurisdiction is your responsibility as the business using the platform.

7. Prohibited Content & Conduct

You may not configure the AI agent to engage in deceptive practices, impersonate a human without disclosure where required by law, provide medical, legal, or financial advice beyond what you have explicitly authorized and reviewed, or handle caller emergencies beyond referring them to appropriate emergency services.

8. Third-Party Integrations

Convocart integrates with third-party calendar, CRM, and communication providers (e.g. Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, HubSpot, Zoho, Slack). These providers are independent of Convocart, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

9. Intellectual Property

Convocart and its underlying technology remain our property. You retain ownership of the business content, knowledge base material, and call data you provide to or generate through the platform.

10. Limitation of Liability

Convocart is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and liability for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable law, with or without notice.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Convocart after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Convocart.
