Convocart is a product of Methuselah Ventures Private Limited ("Methuselah Ventures", "we", "us"), which operates the AI voice and chat receptionist platform described in this policy on behalf of our business customers ("tenants"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have — both as a tenant using Convocart, and as a caller or website visitor interacting with a Convocart-powered AI agent.
Account & business information: business name, contact name, email, phone number, and billing details provided when you sign up.
Call and chat data: when a caller or website visitor talks to a Convocart AI agent, we process the audio (for phone calls routed through our telephony integration) or text (for the website widget), generate a transcript, and — if the tenant has enabled call recording — store the audio recording. We also capture structured outcomes the AI agent generates during the conversation: caller name, phone number, intent, appointment details, and lead information.
Integration data: if a tenant connects a calendar (Google or Microsoft) or CRM (e.g. HubSpot, Zoho), we access and store the minimum data needed to check availability, book appointments, and sync leads — governed by the permissions granted during that connection.
Technical information: IP addresses, browser/device type, and usage logs, collected automatically when you use our dashboard or website widget.
We use this information to operate the AI receptionist service (answering calls/chats, qualifying leads, booking appointments, routing handoffs to a human when needed), to provide the tenant dashboard and analytics, to process billing, to communicate service-related updates, to improve the quality and accuracy of the AI agent, and to detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
Call recording is an opt-in setting controlled by each tenant, not enabled by default. Where recording is enabled, audio is encrypted and stored in our cloud storage provider. Transcripts are generated for every call and chat session regardless of the recording setting, since the AI agent needs the transcript to operate. Tenants are responsible for obtaining any consent required under applicable law before enabling call recording for their business.
Call recordings and transcripts are retained for 90 days by default, after which they are automatically purged. Platform audit logs are retained for 365 days and system logs for 90 days, for security and reliability purposes. Account data is retained for the duration of your subscription and for 30 days after account closure. You may request earlier deletion at any time by contacting us.
You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. To submit a request, contact us at hello@methuselahventures.ai. We will respond within 30 days.
Convocart relies on the following categories of third-party providers to deliver the service: speech recognition (Deepgram), text-to-speech (ElevenLabs), language models (Google Gemini / Vertex AI, with additional providers available on request), voice/telephony infrastructure (LiveKit, Exotel), billing (Chargebee, which routes payments via Stripe or Razorpay depending on your region), and cloud hosting and storage (Google Cloud Platform). Where a tenant connects an optional calendar or CRM integration (e.g. Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, HubSpot, Zoho), that provider processes data under its own privacy policy. Each sub-processor is contractually bound to protect data in line with this policy.
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel. See our Security page for more detail.
Convocart is a business-to-business service and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to tenants via email or the dashboard before they take effect.
